ODA'S EXPERIENCE

Oda learned to cook in a 5 star kitchen in Tokyo, Japan.  He went on to run a station in Tsukiji Marketplace, the world’s largest wholesale fish market, for 20 years.  He set out for the US with the dream to have his own business.  After running a sushi cafe in Manhattan, he opened 969 NYC Cafe in Jackson Heights in 2016.

ODA'S PHILOSOPHY

Oda’s core philosophy is simple: you have to have heart.  Work hard and do things the right way, and it will show in your work.  Whatever he does, he wants to do it well.   Oda puts everything into 969 NYC Coffee because he wants his customers to be happy.
